Trailer breakdown - Awake
With the first footage hitting the 'net on the
10th of May and not just a few seconds, but a
full 2 minutes, it's worth taking a few minutes
to examine what we see, what we find out, and
what we can summise from this early glimpse into
Jaime's new world.
The scene then cuts to Jaime waking up and Eric
explaing her injuries and the fact they have replaced
her right eye, ear and right arm, along with both
legs. Eric holds Jaime's right arm and as she
looks at it see sees it shimmer. Eric tells her
the bone deep lacerrations on her face have already
healed and he peels the bandage from her face
to prove it as he shows holds a mirror up for
her to see. She then pulls back the bed sheets
and sees her legs - virtually see through with
the Bionic implants beneath and freaks out, screaming
at what she sees. Eric tries to calm her, but
she pushes him away and he flies across the room
crashing into the wall. Hearing the commotion,
several medical staff burst through the door to
assist Eric to his feet and one of the nurses
administers a sedative to Jaime's arm - fade out.
