Mr.Eleven airs next week!
Yes, Michelle's 2-part drama finally airs on ITV1 next Friday, Dec.11th, at 9pm. The hour-long drama concludes the following week. In the lead-up to the show Michelle isa doing the press rounds and is saying she will always be remembered for Zoe Slater in Eastenders... "Bionic Woman was a huge show, but people are still going to know me for being Zoe Slater - people liked her so much."
She said recognition for her Albert Square days, during which Zoe famously discovered that her 'sister' Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) was actually her mother, even reached the States.
"I was in LA and I was signing some autographs and I could hear someone shouting, 'Zoe, Zoe'! I didn't think it could be for me, so I turned around and it was."
Trauma revived from the dead?
A couple of weeks back EOnline had the impression Trauma might not be as cancelled as it first appears, as NBC have ordered an additional 3 episodes to go with the already agreed 13. I guess with NBC struggling this year, they are willing to gives things a second chance... more here.

Halloween shocker for Trauma
Halloween came early for Rankin's new show when the grim NBC reaper axed it yesterday. The show has consistently struggled in the ratings, only this week reclaiming enough viewers to make it iit's second best audience since the Pilot aired over a month ago. On the back of Kevin's character revealing to his partner that he is gay this week, Tyler's had a bad week.
Kevin's loss, Mae's gain?
Whilst Kevin Rankin's show Trauma was canned this week by NBC, Mae Whitman may fair better as a regular on the NBC movie-to-series Parenthood. NBC planned to launch the show this year, but problems meant it was put back to 2010 and NBC pulled it's other medical drama Mercy forward to go head-to-head with Trauma. Ouch. We'll update you with Parenthood news as it comes out, but did anyone see mae on last week's Criminal Minds? Another great performance and odd seeing her as a blonde!

Trauma center open for business
NBC have put up for formal site dedicated to it's new show and judging from the clips we've seen it looks great. Plenty of action, some good character stuff. The show debuts on Monday September 28th @ 9/8 central. The site has various stills, character bios and videos. We're big fans of Third Watch and if Trauma turns out half as good as that show it should have a long run ahead of it. Visit Trauma @ http://www.nbc.com/trauma/

Short videos delivered online tell the stories of people who have been cared for by social workers. The visitor to the site sees, for example, Sadie Frost, but hears a man's voice tell the story of Tom, an ordinary 30-year-old who one day starts to hear voices. Tom needs medical treatment to help cope with the worst symptoms; he also needs help from social workers to help him rebuild his life. Watch Michelle 'story' here.

Happy Birthday, Jonas!
Miguel Ferrer aka Jonas Bledsoe, celebrates his 54th birthday today! We hope he has a good one.
Other news in today is that realestatechannel.com is reporting that Miguel and his wife have put their Hidden Hills home on the market... for a reported $5million. Wow, 30 years ago you could just about get a Bionic Woman for that amount. The Mediterranean-style, nearly 9,800-square-foot house and its horse facilities. Hidden Hills is a high-end equestrian community that is gated and has bridle paths. The house has a breakfast area, a master-bedroom suite with three walk-in closets; a pool, a spa, a barbecue pavilion and a putting green.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
New Year.... New Bionics!
2009 launches with the news there are continued releases for the Bionic shows in Europe, specificlly in Italy and Germany. As reported in July 2008, following Lindsay and Lee Majors' appearance at RomaFest, all 3 seasons of both SMDM and The Bionic Woman are now available on DVD in Italy. Whilst this is great news, buyers should be aware there are no extras on the discs and the soundtrack is just available in Italian. Along with these releases, the 3rd and final season of The Bionic Woman will be available in Germany from the 30th of January. Our good friend Roman, says extras are unconfirmed at the moment, although there is a strong likehood there will at least a booklet of some sort included in the set. You can be assured, however, that like the previous German BW DVD releases, this one will also include a 2.0 English language soundtrack, as well as the standard 2.0 Germany one.

The pound/euro exchange rate at the moment is making the European sets slightly more expensive for UK fans and the 3rd German Bionic Woman set is currently priced at 27.99 euros on Amazon.de, but in our opinion it is well worth the few extra bucks as this is the first time the 3rd season has been avalable anywhere, with an English soundtrack.
You can view the Italian DVD sets at dvd.it here and the German 3rd season set is available via Amazon.de here...
