Hale
Karen Lucy Hale, credited as Lucy Hale or ""Lucy
Kate Hale"", was born on June 14, 1989,
and is the youngest of three; her siblings include
an older sister, Maggie and a step- brother, Wes.
She has a Yorkie named Bentley..
She appeared on American Juniors in 2003,
which was her first appearance in the public spotlight.
After the American Juniors band dissolved, Hale
focused on acting, which had been a passion of
hers for a while. She's had guest roles on shows
such as Drake & Josh, Ned's Declassified
School Survival Guide, The O.C., and
How I Met Your Mother. As well she filmed
an ABC pilot for the show Secrets of a Small
Town in 2006, a FOX pilot called The Apostles,
and Amercan Family which was a pilot for
CBS.
Most recently she booked a lead role in Sisterhood
of The Traveling Pants 2. She will play Effie,
Lena's little sister. She is also due to appear
in a several episodes of the Disney show Wizards
of Waverly Place starring David Henrie and
Selena Gomez.
